The Bloom Charter is stewarded by a disabled-led organization, and accessibility here is not compliance polish — a civic document that cannot be read by everyone is not a civic document. This site targets WCAG 2.1 AA as a floor, not a ceiling.

What's built in: full keyboard navigation with visible focus states; a semantic heading structure across the Charter text designed for screen readers; a high-contrast night reading mode; adjustable text size on the Charter page; all animation disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion; forms with proper labels and error messages that say what went wrong and how to fix it.
